On 30 September I 958, 233 Consolidating Bills, representing a general consolidation of the public Acts of Victoria in force on 2 September 1958, received the Royal Assent. It may be useful to review the de- velopment of Statute law applicable to Victoria up to the enactment of this legislation, which is probably the last consolidation that will be made of Victorian Statute law.
