In the Freedom of Information response below the author attempted to reveal the identity of the Queen who New South Wales Police officers swear their oath to. Section 5 of the NSW Constitution Act 1902 provides law making parameters for the legislator of New South Wales. Part 2 of the State Constitution provides for the Powers of the Legislator.

The Legislature shall, subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act, have power to make laws for the peace, welfare, and good government of New South Wales in all cases whatsoever--
Section 2 of the Constitution Act which the law making power of NSW is subject to provides the following --
COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA CONSTITUTION ACT - SECT 2.
Act to extend to the Queen's successors.
The provisions of this Act referring to the Queen shall extend to Her Majesty's heirs and successors in the sovereignty of the United Kingdom.
If Police rely on an adopted title to be used in relation to Australia and its Territories
where is the Act creating such a title for the King of Australia to adopt?
