In 1973 a scheme beyond the power of the Parliament was pushed upon the monarch and a new title outside of the Sovereign Crown was conceived. This was all done without the knowledge of the Australian people, and once changes made hidden by the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and the Australian media.
