A $10 million inquiry has found that if a state government is going to operate a hotel quarantine program, they should do it with trained people who know what they are doing. Really? Anybody on the street could have come to the same conclusion. Victorians would be bitterly disappointed to learn that $195 million was spent on the state’s biggest public policy failure leading to 800 deaths, hundreds of thousands of jobs lost and millions locked in their homes.
