The assent of the Parliament of all the Dominions as of the Parliament of the United Kingdom was required by law, it is found in the 1931 Statute of Westminster Act, and every Act thereafter proclaiming a change to the Style & title of the Monarch. If the requirement was no longer needed why was it placed in the preamble of the 1953 Royal Style & Titles Act?
