CONSTITUTION (OFFICE OF GOVERNOR) ACT 1987

In 1987 with the enactment of section 13 of the Constitution (Office of Governor) Act, the State of Queensland suspended the operation of the Letters Patent constituting the Office of the Governor of Queensland made by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second on 14 February 1986. This marked the day the power and authority of the Queensland Parliament changed forever.
Additionally section 16 of the Act removes the lawful sovereign of the United Kingdom and replaces them with the lawful sovereign of Australia, but how can this be a valid act of legislative power if based upon a Royal Style and Titles Act absent a head of power for its valid creation?
