NSW Police Force is not a legal entity but is a collection of persons either appointed to statutory office or employed in the service of the Crown for the performance of the agency’s functions when the agency engages in legal relationships, such as procurement, it does so on behalf of the Crown, which is the relevant legal entity in such cases.
