Has the 1855 Victorian Constitution been repealed?

The power to repeal Imperial Acts did not come until the enactment of the Australia Act 1986, so where did the power come from for the Victorian Parliament to repeal an Imperial Act come from in 1975 with the enactment of the 1975 Victoria Constitution, or was the repeal done beyond power leaving the 1855 Constitution still valid to this very day?
